One of the first questions we are asked when a new client calls is “So how does a travel consultant work?”
Here at Cruise Planners, we’re a custom travel planning agency. We can assure you that we will provide the best vacation options based on the information you’ve provided us in our interviewing phase. We take the information provided and through our expertise and professional relationships create the best vacation options for you.
STEP #1 | GETTING TO KNOW YOU
- Let’s get started! We believe in a personalized experience, in order to start that we need you to do the following; Contact us using the form below. This page will ask basic information about the people traveling (names, phone number, email, mailing address) along with a secure area for the credit card for the above mentioned plan to go fee.
STEP #2 | COLLABORATING
- Once we have received that form, a consultant will be in touch within one business day to arrange an in-person or phone appointment. During this consultation we will ask a lot of questions to get a good idea of what you’re looking for.
- From there our research and pricing process begins. We will give you a realistic expectation of when to expect the first round of itinerary(ies) to be in your inbox. From this point forth it’s a game of communicating back and forth until we get it perfect! Your communication with us during this time is key.
- Once you have agreed upon an itinerary, we will finalize reservations with deposit and final payments. The initial deposit and airfare are due at time of booking. The amount of the deposit and your final payment dates are dependent on the destination and travel supplier. You can expect anywhere between 15-60% due at deposit with your last payment date being due between 45-90 days prior to your departure date.
- Approximately two to three weeks prior to your trip, your travel documents will be available. Your consultant will go over them with you in person or arrange to ship them to you.
